Chipper Elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame

January 24, 2018

Atlanta Braves switch-hitting third baseman Chipper Jones has been elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame on the 1st ballot (97.2%).  The numbers tell the story of his great career: 468 home runs, 1,624 RBIs, .303 career batting average, NL batting title in 2008, NL MVP in 1999, and eight-time All-Star in 19 seasons with the Braves.  Congratulations, Chipper!  We’ll see you at the HOF Induction Ceremony in Cooperstown in July.
