Chipper Elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame

Atlanta Braves switch-hitting third baseman Chipper Jones has been elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame on the 1st ballot (97.2%).  The numbers tell the story of his great career: 468 home runs, 1,624 RBIs, .303 career batting average, NL batting title in 2008, NL MVP in 1999, and eight-time All-Star in 19 seasons

Ender Inciarte Wins 2017 Gold Glove

Brandon: Thanks for giving it your all

Hometown favorite Brandon Phillips has been traded to the Angels for minor league catcher Tony Sanchez.  Phillips played at Redan High School in Stone Mountain and was named the 1999 Metro Atlanta High School Player of the Year by the Braves 400 Fan Club.  The Braves acquired him this season after a fine 11-year career
