The Atlanta 400 Baseball Fan Club will hold its 54th annual winter banquet and fundraiser at the Atlanta Marriott NE at Century Center on Saturday evening, January 25, 2020.  A gala reception, silent auction and raffle of Braves memorabilia begins at 5:00PM with the awards dinner and program following at 6:30.  The emcee will be former Braves Pitching Coach Leo Mazzone.  Organist Matthew Kaminski will perform during the reception.  Singer/songwriter Bill Fair will sing “The Lord’s Prayer.”

The Gameboree will honor the Division Champion Gwinnett Stripers and the back-to-back Division Champion Atlanta Braves.  Gwinnett Stripers Vice President & General Manager Adam English will speak on the success of the franchise.  Several Striper players have been invited to attend.  The Atlanta Braves will present several awards for outstanding performances by Braves minor leaguers in 2019: Trey Harris (Hank Aaron Award), Ian Anderson (Phil Niekro Award), Thomas Burrows (Bill Lucas Award), and Matt Tuiasosopo (Bobby Cox Award).  

The 2019 Metro Atlanta High School Player of the Year will be presented to C.J. Abrams from Blessed Trinity Catholic High School.  Aaron Schunk from the University of Georgia will receive the Jason Varitek Most Outstanding Scholar Athlete in Georgia Award.

The Luke Appling Nostalgia Award and the Ivan Allen, Jr. “Mr. Baseball” Award will be announced at the banquet.  Phil Niekro College Scholarships will be awarded to the baseball programs at Augusta University and Columbus State University.

Admission is by advance reservation only.  No tickets will be sold at the door.  Seating is assigned as payments are received, so make your reservations early to secure the best available seats.
