After two rounds of voting, the result is in for the Club’s 2024 Major League Road Trip.  We will be going to the West Coast. The base package includes the three-game series between the Braves and Angels at Angel Stadium on August 16-18. In addition, there will be an optional add-on to watch the Dodger/Mariner game at Dodger Stadium on Monday, August 19.

We are just starting to work on the trip details. The trip prices quoted below are preliminary. We cannot finalize the cost until we have a better idea of the size of the travel group and the firm prices from suppliers.

The base package includes:

• Air transportation on Delta Air Lines between Atlanta and John Wayne Orange County Airport. Leave Atlanta on Friday, August 16, and return on Monday, August 19.
• Three nights stay in a hotel near Angel Stadium.
• Tickets to games on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Group meal on Friday.
• Sunday suite at the game with catered food.
• Airport transfers on Friday and Monday.
• Bus to all games.
• Optional trip T-shirt.
• Note that there will not be any planned activity for Saturday until the game. A list of potential things you might want to do will be sent to you in the spring of 2024. One item to note is the hotel will be very close to Disneyland—one of the top tourist attractions in the Los Angeles area.

The preliminary price for this package is $1,500/person – double occupancy.  A single supplement of approximately $300 will be available.

The add-on package for the Dodger/Mariner game on Monday, August 19, includes:

• Game ticket.
• Bus transportation to and from the game at Dodger Stadium.
• Monday night stay at the same hotel in Anaheim.
• Return to Atlanta on Tuesday, August 20, instead of Monday, August 19.
• Bus to John Wayne Airport on Tuesday, August 20.

The preliminary price for this add-on is $300 per person – double occupancy. A single supplement of approximately $100 will be available.
