Make plans to join the Atlanta 400 Baseball Fan Club on Friday, May 31, for the 48th annual Metro Atlanta High School All-Star Recognition Ceremony at SunTrust Park. The awards program will begin promptly at 4:30 in the Konica Minolta Conference Center, located on the Terrace Level of the stadium. This will be followed by a pre-game, on-field recognition ceremony for the 2019 High School All-Stars before the game between the Braves and the Tigers. Pictured below are last year’s High School All-Stars. Click here to see a listing of the 2019 All-Stars.
We are very pleased to have as our guest speaker, former Braves outfielder and current Braves broadcaster Jeff Francoeur, who won the High School Player of the Year Award in 2001 and 2002. Other past honorees at this event have included Brian McCann, Zach Wheeler, Brandon Phillips, and Drew Waters. The Pete Van Wieren Most Outstanding High School Baseball Program of the Year will also be presented.
Admission is by advance reservation only. The cost for 400 Fan Club members is $20 (if you don’t need a game ticket) and $35 (if you need a game ticket). The cost for non-members and guests is $40, which includes a ticket to the Braves vs Tigers game.
Make your reservations online below using PayPal. Or if you prefer, call the Club Hotline at 770-416-4539. The deadline for making reservations is Wednesday, May 29. Sorry, online reservations have closed.
The awards ceremony begins at 4:30, over an hour prior to SunTrust Park opening for the general public. At 4:00 PM you will enter the ballpark through the FIRST BASE GATE. Tell them at the gate that you are with the Atlanta 400 Baseball Fan Club’s High School All-Star Ceremony and they will allow you in. Use the escalator or elevators to get to the 200 Level. The Konica-Minolta Conference Center is located on the 200 Level in the right field corner near Section 211.
Check in at the Registration Desk located just inside the Konica-Minolta Conference Center, where you will be given your game tickets.
Please arrive between 4:00 and 4:15 so that we can get everyone registered and distribute your game tickets. There will be open seating at banquet rounds, and you may help yourself to light snacks and bottled water.
Our speaker, Jeff Francoeur, is broadcasting the game that evening and is on a tight time schedule, so we will start the program promptly at 4:30.
At the conclusion of the program we will take a team photo of the All-Stars and provide instructions for time and place to gather for the pre-game on-field recognition.
